Welcome To Our Mad House for Mad Tea 2013

It's time for a little magic, a little delight and a little mischief. Won't you follow me?  

What do we have here, a key?

But whatever could it fit?

A very large door?

 

Or maybe

a very small door

 

Oh, we must hurry inside,

A storm is coming.

You know what can happen with those storms

We could be caught in a whirlwind and end up in Oz

(but not today)

 

Safely inside

Look at the lovely teacups

and all the goodies!! 

 

Oh, look,

Something Good to Eat

I am quite hungry

 

 

Please, do make youself at home

Have a look around at all my little goodies 

A picture of Grace is watching every move

 

 

Do you like cupcakes?

We have made a bunch

Chocolate

Vanilla

Sprinkles

Or without

Help yourself 

 

 

Welcome to our house for a Mad Tea Party!

Pink is always better

 

This is how you eat a cupcake

 

But, would you

happen to have any juice?

 

Why yes, we do have juice.

A most delicious juice,

Made special by the Mad Queen herself

Very exquisite drink

"For you, my dears" thought the Mad Queen 

 

 

Here, let the Hatter

pour us some of this delicious elixir,

I'm sure it will quench our thirst like nothing else.

 

A little for you

A little for me

Just the thing we need 

Alice, dear.  

 

Ah, can't wait to try this lovely punch.

I'm sure it will taste quite delicious.

 

 

 

 

Here goes,

So yummy

 

 

Ah, so good

I must drink all of it

I am so thirsty!

 

 

The Hatter says,

"Only a drop will quinch your thirst, Alice Dear."

"Only a drop."

 

 

"I am going to drink the whole thing,

you silly Hatter!"

"Cherry Limeade is delicious!!"

 

 

See, all better now

Now we can eat some more of those delightful cupcakes!

 

 

Instead, how about some homemade chicken salad

"You two have had quite enough sweets for awhile"

Said the Mad Queen

 

"But Mama, I'm really digging these cupcakes..."

 

 

"Just one more, pretty please?"

 

 

Oh NO!!

What's he doing underneath the table??

Looking for crumbs, I suppose

 

Oh dear, I don't think there are any crumbs left

Seems as if this party is winding down

Bellies are full of sweets and yummy stuff

Maybe a little nap

Will be in order

It is summertime after all

And what better way to spend a

Hot Summer afternoon then

Taking a nap and dreaming of cooler days
